Glamour Features BTC Elements

It’s official folks, you can be green and chic! Says Glamour magazine “Yes, it is possible to look good and do good for mother earth” in their April issue. The eco-fashion section below included two products from BTC Elements!

When Glamour called us up last month asking for the finest in eco-fashion, we were thrilled to send them pieces from all of our fave eco-designers. The stylist picked one of our MuuMuu Heaven skirts made out of vintage aloha wear, and a cute spring organic cotton/hemp dress by my designer buddy Jenny Hwa from Loyale (available soon!).
Pick up a copy and check us out on page 186, right under the photo of the fabulous Bono and his wife Ali Hewson.
Other green aspects of the issue included a little blurb by Laurie David titled “What I’ll Miss if We Don’t Do Something About Global Warming,” as well as 10 things Glamour readers can do to help the planet.
My favorite part about the section (besides the BTC shout out), was the Glamour office experiment… they had their staff save all of the water bottles for 10 days. The result? A ceiling high wall of plastic bottles. Time to BYOC!

[...] I’m so glad to see that mainstream lifestyle publications are warming up to green products (make sure you check out Domino’s green issue on newsstands now). Raising public awareness about environmental issues is really important, and even if each reader only does one thing suggested, it’ll make a huge impact! Via BTC Elements. [...]
Congrats on the shout-out; that is some major sweet press
[...] Glamour magazine’s cover promises to tell you “The 10 easiet things you can do to help the planet” — and includes some of Summer’s stuff in its spread. [...]
